About this place
Not sure which takoyaki flavour to try? Soy sauce is a good place to start. One visitor recalled the savoury dashi in the batter and liked the soy sauce flavour so much that they returned twice in one day. Another singled out salt and mayonnaise, while a separate review praised the plain version, with no toppings. The familiar options include sauce, soy sauce, ponzu and salt with mayonnaise, so you can enjoy a favourite first and try another flavour next time.
For a change of pace, consider green onion with mayonnaise and ponzu, or salt, mayonnaise and curry powder. The menu also offers Olive Rock Salt, combining olive oil, black pepper and rock salt. One diner who tried several flavours said they had half their order with sauce and half with ponzu; another enjoyed 12 pieces divided into 4 flavours. There is plenty of choice whether you order one flavour for yourself or share a selection with someone else.
A notable alternative to standard takoyaki is Dashi Takoyaki, served in broth. The menu lists an order of 3 pieces for 350 yen. One person who tried it described the soup as full-flavoured without being too salty. It offers a different way to enjoy takoyaki, or a lighter option to sample. For a quick bite, takoyaki senbei—2 takoyaki pieces in a senbei—costs 250 yen. Edamame, kimchi and karaage are among the other small dishes available.
Drinks include beer, lemon sour, highballs and soft drinks, making it easy to choose something to accompany your takoyaki or round out a meal. The restaurant has counter and table seating for dining in, and also offers takeaway. You can settle in and choose your flavours, or pick up takoyaki to take away.
